REAL ID IN GAME
REALID is a system that is meant to be used by REAL FRIENDS, All Blizzard games will have two different kinds of friends list you can add people to;
A regular list - can only see their gamer tag.
A REALID list - can see the players real name and what game they are playing - you can also message across games.
READID is for REAL friends not for some random guy you meet in goldshire, if you don't want this guy to know your name or bother you while playing other games but he sounds like a fun chap add him as a regular friend.
REAL ID ON FORUMS
In the near future *IF* you post on blizzards forums you will get a warning that your name will be displayed on the post with the option of also displaying a game character name along side.
Again this is optional - if you are paranoid don't post on the forums.
